I Found A Poem

We Had A Dream

what will go down in history,
whose symbolic shadow?
America of the Fierce,
its vicious racists

For whites only
justice rolls down like waters.
Go back to the slums
in the valley of despair

The Negro's discontent will not pass.
To make justice a reality
would be fatal for the nation.
We must be guilty of wrongful deeds.

we shall always march
on a lonely island of poverty
seared in the flames of withering injustice.

the Negro is not free.
